“Morning. Just an update in case you ever wonder how they get on (you must lose track I expect!) We took Blue to his first BE80 at Munstead. He did a beautiful dressage test and competent SJ round. Unfortunately he was eliminated XC but we are not quite there with water confidence which was the downfall (I did expect it really). We are confident he will be fine with it by next season as we have six months of serious water exposure planned now (the dry summer didn’t help as we just couldn’t do enough with him). He’s an absolutely wonderful boy and the dressage judge commented that he is a ‘quality horse’.”☘️

First ever time with a large dress on the back and was surrounded by Lamborghinis and Ferraris revving their engines. He was the star of the show and was getting photographed left right and centre! ”Hi James, just wanted to give you an update on the four year old I bought from you last year: Silver Bay (Henry). We gave him some time to mature and grow in the second half of last year then have started competing this spring, coming 5th in our first CT. He’s done two BE’s so far and is proving an absolute cross country machine already with his movement a big hit with the dressage judges. He’s also the calmest young horse on the ground I’ve ever had which is great because I go to a lot of competitions myself so it’s great knowing I can leave him happily eating hay by the trailer. I’m so happy with him and really looking forward to taking him up the levels.”☘️

Maisie is super! brave, super action best temperament! Already been off the yard to school over some showjumps she has caught so much attention already! She is a show girl for sure! Can’t wait to take her to her first competition in a few weeks time. “Rather wet day at Aston Le Walls with indi today, a pleasing dressage of 33.3, then a 4 and 1/2 hour wait for the showjumping, in which it rained for 4 hours! Flooding the arenas, resulting in 2 unlucky poles. Then after deciding it’s just dry enough to do the cross country, indi absolutely flew over a chunky 100cm course, just picking up a couple time as I kept her slow due to the ground conditions! Also resulting in a rather muddy horse at the end of it! Also leaving giving us in 8th place! Super proud of this mare, still can’t believe she’s only 6 ❤️”

“A bit of a different day for us today out playing with the young horses. What’s the plan (aka Stan) having his first outing to the Ludlow Hunt Show. Great fun around the working hunter course and followed that win up with the supreme championship. Beautifully turned out as ever by Andrew Rogers. Back to eventing next week!”

“Literally the happiest girl in the world! My home produced 7yo Tullibards He’s Cool (Hugo) completed his first Intermediate today. Owned him since a gangly 4yo…. Today an elegant athlete at Aston le Walls intermediate- 35 Dr, 1 pole round an upto height and twisty SJ track and a fabulous, confident clear XC with only 3.2 time faults! Simply proud to finish 8th in a competitive section ! We have come so far with this young horse, thank you to everyone who has helped me make this happen – especially Una – best mum and Auntie Susanna ! “Hi I bought this mare from you few weeks back and your mum asked me to let her know how she got on. After having bloods and vetting was clear she was v poorly but she’s had time and love and she is the loveliest kindest mare I’ve known. She has a bit of an opinion but she’s a real trier and I couldn’t be more chuffed with her! Such a lovely head on her for a 4 yo ! She’s changed so much so I’m quite excited that she may make a nice lil event horse.

“ One whole year ago today we picked these two little boys up as 4yo…. Fast forward one year and they have progressed into such handsome boys who just keep on giving. They had the end of summer through to winter to just hack out straight from the fields, then in January when the ménage was built they have been in practise. So really they have got to where they are in 7months 💗
